The Prevention Information Center (PIC) was established to provide the most up-to-date prevention and health promotion resources possible for the citizens of Colorado. Housed at the Rocky Mountain Center for Health Promotion and Education, the PIC collection includes over 7,800 items covering a wide range of prevention and treatment issues.
Lending Library and Online Catalog
The PIC offers a large collection of books, videos and visual aids (for teaching and exhibiting) available for two-week loan, without cost to Colorado residents. Items can be located using our online library catalog.
Magazine and Journal Articles
The PIC provides access to both print and online professional and research periodicals. Search our databases from anywhere!
PIC Clearinghouse
Free and cost-recovery materials are available that help you and your community prevent alcohol and other drug problems as well as provide treatment. The Clearinghouse has a large collection of brochures, pamphlets, posters, research reports and resource guides. Order on-line!

Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loans (ILL)
Document delivery is free for PIC library cardholders and Colroado libraries. You can borrow our materials from any library in Colroado that provides ILL.
