Launch of DiversityData.org

“On Jan. 24, the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) in partnership with the Center for the Advancement of Health and with support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation launched the Web site http://DiversityData.org/.”  The site identifies indicators for “diversity, opportunity, quality of life and health for various racial and ethnic population groups.” Data profiles are available for the following Colorado areas: Boulder–Longmont, Colorado Springs. Denver, Fort Collins–Loveland, Grand Junction, Greeley and Pueblo.

The launch is accompanied by the release of the online report “Children Left Behind: How Metropolitan Areas Are Failing American Children,” which examines the well-being of children in 100 of the largetst metropolitan regions.
